Christopher Cook grew up around many talented artists, craftsmen, and businessmen. He began his career as an apprentice and then as an employee for over ten years working on many of Altoona's finest buildings, including the Mishler Theater, City Hall, Baker Mansion, the Pennsylvania State Capital Building, the Hershey Theater, and many area churches. Amid working he also studied Theater, Design and Art at Shenandoah University. In 2002 he founded Cook's Painting & Renovation, Inc., over the past two decades his company has worked on various projects ranging from the restoration of the Blair County Courthouse, continued restoration of The Mishler Theatre, and the decoration of The Casino at Lakemont Park’s Grand Pavilion. He also has extensive experience in custom renovations including additions, window and door installations, and hundreds of custom kitchen installations. In 2016, he and his wife Jennifer began to purchase and rehabilitate dilapidated homes and businesses in the Altoona area. They now manage and maintain over 80 units in the city of Altoona, PA. In January 2020 they launched their next adventure creating a retail division that offers decades of sales, design, and installation experience.
